1967 Sundial Camper!

1967 Sundial camper with custom drive train.  Bonedry New Mexico bus!!

 

Engine: Fresh rebuild 1835 with balanced crankshaft, one step up Engle cam, spin on oil filter, rotary fuel pump and dual kadrons, with external oil cooler and deep sump !

 

Front end is from a 70 bus w/71 disc brakes, transaxle is an 091 five ribbed bus trans with IRS from a 75 bus which was fully rebuild by Jim Loftin here in FL converted in a freeway flier with taller 4th (this bus moves and has taller gears that a 6 rib)

 

Bus has a frame-mounted heavy duty trailer hitch used to tow a motorcycle trailer with The previous owners sidecar rig on it. 

 

OG Bekowa full length Roofrack + Ladder

 

Fresh repaint in L87 Pearl White and L82 Silver White

 

Original Sundial Interior fully restored by RJ Campers

 

Seats Brand New redone with new memory foam pads and red vinyl!

 

Child cot, Ice Box,Magazine Rack, NOS Sundial Tent with NOS side panels and Tent frame

 

Brand New (5) BF Goodriches KM2's Mud Terrain Tires on 15" OG Bus Wheels

 

All new Rubbers around!

 

Has rotors turned, new brake pads, new NOS German rear drums and shoes and wheel cylinders!

 

Bus was mostly used to travel to fairs to sell the Previous owners products,He would load bus with 1000 pounds of products plus camping gear in center and on top on bekowa full length rack. Averaged 10 hour days at 70/75 mph bus will go a little faster but don't know exactly as it pegs the 80mph speedo. 

Comes with many extras:  air shocks for heavy loads, low mile tested steering box

 

I built this bus to be a camper that I can take wherever I need or want to go!This can take u off the beaten path

 

It also has a propane tank mounted underneath to hook up camping supplies!

 

This bus was build to last! It was a perfectly solid bus to start with! This is my personal bus and I thought that I wasn't gonna sell this one but things in life change and I just put it out there! I don't need to sell it so don't low ball me! My price is pretty firm!

 

You can drive this bus anywhere and is build to go anywhere! This is one was build for me to keep and I'm just entertaining selling it!

 

There is no way you can build this bus with this setup for this price!

 

It's a split that has best of both worlds ! Early looks and modern ride comfort!

You don't find them like this easy! Bus lived its entire life in dry New Mexico!

1967 Dry New Mexico 11 window bus for sale

1967 Standard 11 window bus

Original New Mexico bus! Solid and very dry! Will need rocker work!

Has Original seats (middle and rear)

Lowered spindles, lowered and 4" narrowed Beam (wide five)

Empi 5's knockoffs

New clutch just installed

Mystery 1776cc motor with mild cam and external cooler!
